Susan Langer
Susan’s 30+ year career spans corporate, entrepreneurial and nonprofit sectors within financial services, marketing and international development. Corporate alliances include: General Mills, Cargill, Buhler, DSM, USAID, World Vision, US Bank, H&R Block, Periscope, and Campbell Mithun. Susan is currently board chair of Healing Hands of Joy, a faith-based nonprofit with a mission to eradicate obstetric fistula in Ethiopia by 2020.
In 2016, Susan founded Live.Give.Save., Inc., a financial technology company with a unique focus on giving and inspiring social good. Its first product – spave® – is the only all-in-one financial wellness app that empowers you to use your everyday spending to give to the causes you care about and save for a secure future ... without changing your lifestyle. Every time you spend using your debit or credit card, spave® deducts a self-defined percent – micro-amounts called “spavings” – from your primary checking account and distributes them to your respective savings and/or selected charity(ies). Set it and forget it. Then, whenever you make a purchase, you make a difference ... for yourself and a better world. spave® launched in the App Store in July and has plans to expand globally in 2019.
